ESXi: Invalid Datastore Path

I renamed a VM and moved its location, following VMWare’s guide (same datastore) so this may have been a cause of the error, however, when try to register the (renamed) VM using:

# vim-cmd solo/registervm WSVR02.vmx

I received the error:

(vim.fault.InvalidDatastorePath) {
   dynamicType = ,
   faultCause = (vmodl.MethodFault) null,
   datastore = ,
   name = “”,
   datastorePath = “[]WSVR02.vmx”,
   msg = “Invalid datastore path ‘[]WSVR02.vmx’.”,
}

I was in the directory:
/vmfs/volumes/52834401-89683242-c310-001f3f5e49d6/WSVR02
Solved by including the full path to the VMX file in the command:
# vim-cmd solo/registervm /vmfs/volumes/52834401-89683242-c310-001f3f5e49d6/WSVR02/WSVR02.vmx
ESXi 5.5

To create code blocks or other preformatted text, indent by four spaces:

    This will be displayed in a monospaced font. The first four
    spaces will be stripped off, but all other whitespace
    will be preserved.

    Markdown is turned off in code blocks:

To create not a block, but an inline code span, use backticks:

Here is some inline `code`.
